How we verify
Collect
Once a day we read the Korea Tourism Organization TourAPI — its Korean service and its official English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese services. No other source is mixed in.
Match
An English, Chinese or Japanese listing is joined to the Korean one only when both have the same dates and sit within 500 m of each other. Otherwise each is shown as it is.
Details
Venue, hours, fees and the overview come from the official detail records and are fetched again only when the source changes. Because the API has a daily limit, a new event can show its details a few days later.
Language
Each language appears only where that official service has it. We do not machine-translate. Where it is missing, the English or Korean original is shown.
Status is calculated from the dates every day: on now, upcoming, or ended. Ended events stay for six months so past dates are not mistaken for upcoming ones.
